Uswim1™ Aquatic Safety System · North Wales, PA & online

Conquer the water,
conquer the world!

Science-backed swim instruction that gives every child water autonomy: the ability to survive and recover from an unexpected water entry. Then we build real strokes on top of it.

Three ways to work with Uswim1™

One method. Three paths.

Whether you're training for open water, teaching kids to swim, or running an aquatics program, it all runs on the same science-backed, benchmark-driven system.

The Golden Axiom of Uswim1™

“Where the head goes, the body follows.”

Real drowning looks like a vertical body, climbing hands, and a dropped head. We reverse-engineered those panic cues and teach the opposite: chin to the sky, hips up, airway clear.

  1. Self-rescue before strokes

Doggie paddling isn't swimming. We verify an independent back float before we ever build propulsion.

  2. Prompt, cue, benchmark

What the instructor says, what they watch for, and exactly what the swimmer must prove to move up.

  3. No free rides

Physical support is faded every session, from fully hands-on to hip-guiding to hands-off.

  4. The Spiral Technique

Push to the next challenge, then loop back to a familiar hold and high praise. Momentum without breaking trust.

Why it matters

Drowning is silent, swift, and preventable.

  • #1cause of death for children ages 1–4 in the U.S.
  • SecondsDrowning happens quickly and is often silent, even with adults nearby.
