Our Team
The experience of our leadership team is the strength of the USwim1 program. Combined, we have over 100 years of competitive swimming invovlement from both the coaching and swimming perspectives. There is no other learn-to-swim program that can match our level of expertise. Instructors will consist of professional, graduate, undergraduate, and high school level personnel. Most have collegiate, high school, and/or club level swimming experience representing the following programs, West Chester University, Bloomsburg University, University of South Carolina, LaSalle University, and Arcadia University to name a few. We are dedicated to serving your aquatic needs and look forward to working with you in the near future!
Ryan is the University of Swimming founder and couldn't be more excited to share his knowldege, skills, experience, and passion for the water. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology from West Chester University where he was a 25-time All American and National Champion swimmer for the Golden Rams. His love for the water began at an early age and has been involved in all levels of swimming for over 30 years. He has coached at the club, high school, collegiate, recreational, and open water levels across multiple organizations for over 20 years; most notably West Chester University and Arcadia University (Head coach 2010-2013). Ryan is lifeguarding/First-Aid/AED and CPR instructor certified, has an Emergency Medical Technician certification, and was a professional rescuer for the Sea Isle City Beach Patrol for 13 years!
